5 Ways to Move More

Making time to workout is so important for your health and wellbeing. Don't let your efforts go to waste by having too much sedentary sitting time! Too much sitting can increase your risk of heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Yikes!




Set reminders. Remind yourself to get up and move every hour. Take a walk away from your desk, work while standing, or get in a good stretch. Set reminders using your Outlook calendar or phone. Fitness trackers are great for this too!

Spend 10 minutes of your lunch taking a walk. Take a walk around your building, preferably outside! Not only will this help you move more, but it's a great way to clear your mind from your busy day, making you more productive and efficient in the long run. Moving more + working harder = win!

Fill up your water bottle more often at work. It's incredibly important to hydrate your body throughout the day. The more water you drink, the more often you need to get your booty up to fill your water bottle!

Squat it out! Squat it out while waiting at the copy machine or blow drying your hair! Burn that booty!
