Weekend in Paso Robles Recap

The Hubs and I enjoyed a fabulous long weekend visiting Paso Robles. We drove up the coast on Saturday morning and had a beautiful drive with hardly any traffic.

Of course I needed my snacks!

I'm already hooked on Suja juices and this was my first time trying out their new pressed probiotic waters. In love!

Our first stop was this adorable little eatery and market located in Los Alamos called Bell Street Farm. If you want to eat the most amazing rotisserie style chicken you've ever had, then you need to make the trip to Bell Street Farm. I mean...a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!

The entire place has this quaint farmhouse feel without being overdone. The tables are adorned with fresh roses and the smell of chicken fills the air. The Hubs and I each ordered the Rotisserie Half-Chicken meal which comes with a half free-range rotisserie chicken, butter leaf salad and a gloriously creamy rosemary and white bean hummus.

From there we headed to  Laetitia Vineyard & Winery where we sampled some fabulous Pino Noir. Our favorite!

We also enjoyed the views at Laetitia which were just gorgeous!

We actually stayed outside of Paso Robles in a small coastal town called San Simeon. We stayed at a boutique hotel called The Morgan. Our room was extra cozy with a fireplace. We loved taking walks by the beach in the mornings and leaving the windows open at night to hear the ocean waves!

On Sunday we spent the day in Paso Robles wine tasting. Tablas Creek was definitely our favorite stop of the day! We were told that Lone Madrone was hosting a burger Sunday so we stopped there for lunch and had one of the best burgers we've ever tasted. A wood grilled lamb burger topped with grilled tomato and goat cheese served over mixed field greens. I wish I had taken a picture of this, but I was honestly so hungry that it completely slipped my mind! We finished the afternoon lounging on the patio and beautiful grounds of Castoro.

We had a nice little picnic of salt and herb roasted cashews and truffle salami which was delicious!

We honestly could have spent the entire day. It was so beautiful!

Monday morning we had breakfast at a small restaurant downtown then made the trip back to the OC. We absolutely LOVED our time in Paso Robles and are planning to make this our annual spring trip!
