Why I Take a Daily Wellness Shot + My Favorite Recipes

"Shots, shots, shots...EVERYBODY!!!" 

Part of my morning routine involves taking a daily wellness shot. It seems like wellness shots are the new it thing. When I first heard of them, I wondered what all the hype was about.

Now I totally get it.

These little libations are loaded with nutrients and can be customized depending on what health benefits you're looking for. Immune-boosting, gut-healing, skin-loving, name it. There's a shot for that!

My Favorite Wellness Shots

Immune-Boosting Turmeric Ginger Shot

The Benefits:

Powerful anti-inflammatory
Powerful antioxident

The Recipe:

Juice of 1 lemon
1 inch fresh ginger, grated
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
Pinch of cayenne
Pinch of black pepper

Shake all ingredients in a shaker or mason jar and pour into a shot glass.

Stomach Settling Apple Cider Vinegar Shot

The Benefits: 

Increases energy
Aids digestion
Fights pathogens
Regulates bllod sugar
Supports the body's detoxification process

The Recipe:

1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 oz. water
Optional: 1/4 tsp honey

Shake all ingredients in a shaker or mason jar and pour into a shot glass.
