January Favorites | Safe Beauty, Home, Food, Fashion & Fitness

A collection of my monthly favorites from January featuring safe beauty, home, food, fashion, fitness and everything in between!

Here are my January favorites!

Safe Beauty

Detox Your Beauty Routine // I recently wrote an entire post on my favorite safe beauty swaps complete with all my favorites including makeup, skin care, body care, hair care and nail care! I'm so thankful for Beautycounter and other safe beauty brands for providing safe and non-toxic products that work!!

Beautycounter Daily Shampoo and Conditioner // This shampoo and conditioner makes my hair feel SO soft and clean!! The shampoo gives a nice deep clean. The Hubs is using it now too! The conditioner feels very light when you apply it and at first I was concerned it wouldn't be enough moisture for me, but gosh it makes my hair soft!!

Beautycounter Rejuvenating Day Cream // With this cool, dry California winter, my skin needed some extra moisture. I transitioned from the Beautycounter Nourishing Day Cream to the Rejuvenating Day Cream and am very happy with the results! Overall my skin feels smoother, softer and brighter. I love that the rejuvenating line works well for sensitive, acne-prone skin too!

Benefits of House Plants // I'm no green thumb, but I've recently been reading a lot about the benefits of having plants in your home. They are said to purify the air and can even help you sleep!

Dream Home Inspo // The Hubs and I have been focused on setting intentions to help us get to our dream home in the future! I've been obsessed on Pinterest lately with all things home remodeling and decor including glamorous bathrooms, dreamy bedrooms, blog-worthy kitchens and living spaces!

Food and Drink

Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen // If you follow me on Instagram, you know that my new morning latte of choice lately is a creamy bulletproof matcha! This new matcha collagen makes mornings even easier. With one scoop you get your dose of gut-healing collagen and matcha!

Healthy Peanut Butter Cups // I meal prepped this recipe by Fit Foodie Finds last month for a sweet treat and they were amazing! I actually used almond butter and they were delicious. The perfect combo of chocolate and almond butter. So good with a sprinkle of flake sea salt on top...swoon!

Green Goddess Detox Soup + Homemade Vegetable Broth // After all the holiday indulgences my body was craving fresh, clean, simple foods. This soup is packed with fresh veggies and good for you ingredients to boost your immunity and get your skin glowing. Plus, I've included a recipe for homemade vegetable broth! The leftover broth is perfect to freeze in ice cube trays and save to add into recipes for a little extra goodness!

Cook Once Eat All Week Series // I absolutely loved the idea behind this series by Fed and Fit! The recipes are delicious and I love how brilliantly they're planned out. Each week you get three base recipes, three unique meal recipes, and one eBook

Resort Style Pieces for a Midwinter Getaway // Looking at this resort style outfit inspo had me dreaming of a vacation!

Shopping for The Hubs Business Trip // I'm super excited to be going with the Hubs on his upcoming business trip at the end of this month! I've been trying to get some outfit inspo to wear to the business dinners etc. I'd love to hear your tips!

Tone It Up Love Your Body Challenge // I'm mentioned my love of Tone It Up seasonal challenges before and this has been one of my favorites! This one really focuses on self love and I'm all about that! It's a fun challenge leading up to Valentine's Day!

Researching Yoga Studios // I've been looking into local studios to join and would love your recommendations if you're local to Orange County, CA! I'm thinking of trying Core Power and would love any thoughts on your experience there.

2017 Highlights and 2018 Intentions // Each year I look forward to reflecting on the previous year and looking ahead towards my intentions and dreams for the future. I shared mine on the blog!

What were you loving in January? What are your 2018 intentions?
